Great food, relaxed rustic atmosphere. Wait staff is friendly. This will be one of our new go to restaurants.
On the way home from Virginia Safari Park, we stopped here for a late lunch. Hailey took good care of us and our food was phenomenal. The Bloody Marys (with their homemade mix), crab dip appetizer, Fajita Chicken Salad and the French Dip were all on point! My husband loved the creamed spinach as well. Great little local place. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area again.
I do not eat out very often but omg this is the best place to eat. Food is very good. And service is always so wonderful!
Just a great place! It was very clean, friendly and the food was very good. It appears they make many of their items from scratch. We stopped around 2:30, betweeen the lunch and dinner crowd and it was definitely worth our time. Our waitress / bartender, Jen was very friendly, introduced us to the owner and provided a history of the location and surrounding area. We recommend the stop and going inside to enjoy the food, company and ambiance.
The Salmon was good, but the vegetables were practically raw. The service was not good. Our server got us drinks, then disappeared for over 15 minutes. Actually, she left the restaurant after about 15 minutes and shortly after she left someone else finally came and took our order. I will not be returning.
